Karen Aldridge (Olivia) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where her credits include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Edward II, Love’s Labor’s Lost and the international tour of Le Costume directed by Peter Brook. Other Chicago credits include: The Ballad of Emmett Till, The Cook, Proof (Jeff Nomination—Best Actress, Goodman Theatre); Seagull (Writers’ Theatre); Man from Nebraska (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); Far Away, and In the Blood (Jeff Nomination—Best Actress, Next Theatre). Regional credits include productions with: Alabama Shakespeare Festival, American Conservatory Theatre, Magic Theatre, Aurora Theatre Company, Marin Theatre Company and AlterTheater. Karen holds a BA in Sociology from UCLA and an MFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University.
