Ben Carlson (Macbeth) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he appeared in the title role of Hamlet. Shaw Festival credits in more than 20 productions including: John Tanner in Man and Superman (including Don Juan in Hell), Cusins in Major Barbara, Andrei in Three Sisters, The Return of the Prodigal, Six Characters in Search of an Author, Georg in She Loves Me, Chris Keller in All My Sons, Constantine in The Seagull, You Can’t Take It With You, The Lady’s Not for Burning and Mrs. Warren’s Profession. Other Canadian stage credits include: Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest (Sadyie Bronfman/Soulpepper Theatre); Berowne in Love’s Labour’s Lost (National Arts Centre); Biff in Death of a Salesman (Neptune Theatre); The Homecoming, Closer (Manitoba Theatre Center); Jim in The Glass Menagerie (Prairie Theatre Exchange); Torvald in A Doll’s House (Theatre DVxT); and Marchbanks in Candida (Theatre Calgary). Regional theater credits include Philadelphia, Here I Come! and The Vortex (Walnut St. Theatre, Philadelphia). Television credits include Angela’s Eyes and Slings and Arrows.
