Lacy Katherine Campbell (Helena) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where she last appeared in Troilus and Cressida. Other Chicago credits include: Twilight Orchard, Loves Me…Loves Me Not (Redmoon Theater); The Nose (Greasy Joan & Co.); The Well of the Saints (Irish Repertory of Chicago); The Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet (Crew of Patches Theatre Company); Cupid in Your Pants (Second City Theatricals); and That’s Weird, Grandma (Barrel of Monkeys). She is a company member with Barrel of Monkeys, teaching and performing creative writing in Chicago Public Schools, and at the Neo-Futurist Theater. She is the host and a head writer for Odyssey Reading, winner of the 2007 Best Educational Software Award. Lacy loves that Shakespeare’s stories still appeal to us 400 years after he wrote them. “We’re centuries apart, but still cracking up at the same dirty jokes.”
