DeRante Parker (Snug) makes his Chicago Shakespeare debut. Other Shakespeare credits include: Lucio in Measure for Measure, Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew, and Bardolph in Henry IV, Part I. He received a BFA from Idaho State University and an MFA from the University of South Carolina. His first experience with Shakespeare was attending a production in Las Vegas, where he grew up. He remembers, “I was mostly amazed by the energy. I could feel the language and the voices of the actors in my chest.” When DeRante is not on stage, he is also a substitute teacher.
