Matt Schwader (Orlando) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where
his credits include: Roderigo
in Othello, Rosencrantz in
Hamlet, Falstaff's Page and the
Duke of Clarence in Henry IV
Parts 1 and 2 (at CST and on tour
to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon),
Claudio in Measure for Measure, Fenton in The Merry Wives
of Windsor, Notary/Lélie in The
Molière Comedies, Lysander
(2003) and Puck (2009) in Short
Shakespeare! A Midsummer
Night's Dream, and Juliet in
the co-production with Apple
Tree Theatre of Shakespeare's
R&J (After Dark Award, Best
Ensemble). Other Chicago credits include: A Life (Northlight
Theatre); A Life in the Theatre and A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre); Titus Andronicus
(Court Theatre); All Night Strut
(The Marriott Theatre); and
Mrs. Warren's Profession (Remy
Bumppo Theatre Company).
Regional credits include productions with Actors Theatre
of Louisville, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Summer Shakespeare Notre Dame and is a
company member of American Players Theatre in Spring Green, WI. He holds an MFA
from the University of Delaware's Professional Theatre Training Program.
