David Lively (Friar Laurence) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include: Macbeth, Amadeus, Henry IV in Henry IV Parts 1 and 2 (at CST and on tour to Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon), Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, King John, The Winter’s Tale, Julius Caesar, The School for Scandal, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Short Shakespeare! Macbeth. Other Chicago credits include: The Drowsy Chaperone, My Fair Lady, Beauty and the Beast, 1776 (The Marriott Theatre); Sherlock’s Last Case, 1776, Camelot, The Mousetrap, Anything Goes, My Fair Lady, The Foreigner (Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook); Hay Fever (Court Theatre); Season’s Greetings, Charley’s Aunt and Sherlock’s Last Case (Candlelight’s Forum Theatre). Regional credits include: the two-year national tour of Twelve Angry Men (Roundabout Theatre Company), and appearances at Indiana Repertory Theatre, Virginia Stage Company, Geva Theatre, New Stage Theatre and The Kennedy Center.
