Ian Bedford (Petruchio) makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Off-Broadway and New York credits include: Flags (59E59 Theatre); Below the Belt and Rue (Theater for the New City). Regional credits include: The School of Night (Mark Taper Forum); The Beaux' Stratagem and vRichard III (Shakespeare Theatre Co., Washington, DC); Macbeth (Orlando Shakespeare Theatre); Richard III (Lake Tahoe Shakespeare); Our Town (La Jolla Playhouse); Treasure Island (People's Light & Theatre); and Metamorphoses (Florida Studio Theater). Mr. Bedford spent five seasons at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival where his credits included A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth and Henry V. He has also spent seasons with Shakespeare Santa Cruz and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Television credits include: Law & Order: SVU, One Life to Live, Guiding Light and Nash Bridges. Mr. Bedford received his MFA from UC San Diego and his BA from Yale University.
