Eleanor Hyde serves as Gary Griffin's assistant director for Private Lives. As assistant director, she aids throughout the rehearsal process and understudy rehearsals after the production opens. She is an Arts Leadership Fellow at Chicago Shakespeare Theater and pursuing an MFA at DePaul University. She studied directing at Sarah Lawrence College and has previously worked in various capacities with The Hangar Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre Company, and Chicago Children's Choir.
