Phillip James Brannon (Duke of Clarence, Tyrrel) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he appeared in Amadeus and Macbeth. Other Chicago credits include: The Ballad of Emmett Till, The Cook, Oedipus Complex and A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre); Aaron the Moor in Titus Andronicus (Court Theatre); Elmina’s Kitchen (Congo Square Theatre); An Immigrant Class (Remy Bumppo Theatre Company); and The Last Supper (InFusion Theatre). Regional credits include Lennie in Of Mice and Men and Vladimir in Waiting for Godot (Firebelly Productions). International credits include Joan Dark (Linz Festival 2009). He holds a BFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University.
