Hide an object that you can imagine to be a genie's lamp—maybe a tea kettle or even a flashlight! Make up treasure-hunt clues, or play “hot and cold” to help your child find the magic lamp. When they find it, grant them three wishes. Then you can switch roles as your child becomes, for the moment, your wish-granting genie!
