Allison Batty (Desdemona) makes her Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Chicago credits include: Suddenly, Last Summer (Shattered Globe Theatre); The Constant Wife (Griffin Theatre); Twelfth Night (GreenStick Theatre) and Beast on the Moon (LaCosta Theatre). Regional credits include: Room Service, Love's Labor's Lost, HMS Pinafore, Dr. Faustus (Utah Shakespearean Festival); Macbeth (Utah Shakespearean Festival Tour); Present Laughter, Never the Sinner (Artist Repertory Theatre); Romeo and Juliet (Portland Actors Ensemble); Noises Off (Oregon Theatrical Awards Society, Best Actress), Sweeney Todd (Lakewood Theatre Company); Lady Windermere's Fan (Cygnet Productions); Henry V (Quintessence Theatre, co-founder); Dracula (Northwest Children's Theatre); Grease (Broadway Rose Theatre); and The Winter's Tale (Tygres Heart Shakespeare). Film/Television credits: Squeal; All We Know of Heaven (NY First Run Film Festival, Best Actor) and various commercials. Allison holds an MFA in acting from Indiana University, a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Pacific University, and is a graduate of the Portland Actor's Conservatory.
