Kareem Bandealy (Chorus) makes his CST debut. His Chicago credits include work with Goodman Theatre, Silk Road Theatre Project, About Face, Remy Bumppo, American Theater Company, and many other venues. Regional credits include Notre Dame Summer Shakespeare, Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre, and four seasons at Orlando Shakespeare Theater. His work on film includes: In Plain Sight, Counting Backwards, Bodega, and Michael Keaton’s The Merry Gentleman. Kareem is an Associate Artist and company member of Silk Road Theatre Project, and is appearing through March in Yussef El-Guindi’s Our Enemies: Lively Scenes of Love and Combat. “As a ‘person of color’ in America,” Kareem says, “acting Shakespeare allows me to play a larger spectrum of roles. Outside Shakespeare, in most cases I am marginal to a story. Within Shakespeare, I can be anything I have the capacity to play.”
