Demetrios Troy (Paris) makes his CST debut. He is a Chicago native and graduated from DePaul University with a BA in Theatre Arts. He recently received his MFA from the University of South Carolina and spent last year interning at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Recent credits include: Edmund in King Lear, Pistol in The Merry Wives of Windsor (Riverside Shakespeare); Laurent in Tartuffe, France in King Lear (Milwaukee Rep); Claudio in Measure for Measure, Horner in The Country Wife, Raulito in Landscape of the Body, Rodolpho in A View from the Bridge, and Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (USC). Demetrios is a graduate of Prospect High School in Mt. Prospect, and originally wanted to be a baseball player. “I enjoy a challenge, and Shakespeare demands nothing less than an actor’s complete faith and commitment,” he says.
