Gregory Isaac (Vincentio) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he appeared as Baptista in Short Shakespeare! The Taming of the Shrew when it premiered in the spring, Demetrius in Short Shakespeare! A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Orlando in As You Like It. Other Chicago credits include: Vincent in Brixton (Apple Tree Theatre); A Few Good Men (Theatre at the Center); two productions of A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre); Xena Live! 2 (About Face Theatre); and Rough Crossing (Writers’ Theatre). Regional credits include: work with Alliance Theatre (winner of the 2007 Regional Tony Award); Georgia Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Festival of Dallas, Jewish Theatre of the South, New American Shakespeare Tavern, Hope Summer Repertory Theatre and Soul-stice Repertory, among others. Gregory’s favorite hobby is running. “I started five years ago and I’ve been getting better and better at it,” he says. “I ran my first Chicago marathon last October, and in March I ran a 50-mile Ultramarathon. It took me just over 111/2 hours to complete.”
