Allen Gilmore (Baptista Minola) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include Short Shakespeare! Macbeth. Other Chicago credits include: A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre); Scapin, Endgame (Court Theatre); and Cyrano de Bergerac (Court Theatre and Redmoon Theater). He is originally from Houston and is a U.S. Army veteran. He chose drama as a career when he was 10 years old and attended the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in New York. He also attended New York University/Stella Adler Studio and the Julliard School. He is a self-proclaimed “sports nut—a Houston Astros fan and a BIG University of Texas Longhorns fan.” Allen enjoys acting as “an opportunity to live many lives over the course of my own life, have experiences and learn things I’d otherwise never do.”
