Chris Cantelmi (Musician, August 2–12) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he appeared in Short Shakespeare! The Taming of the Shrew when it premiered in the spring, and Hamlet. Other Chicago credits include: Another Day in the Empire (Black Sheep Productions at the Royal George Theatre); Johnny Tremain (Lifeline Theatre); Berlin 45 (Victory Gardens Theater); Othello and Seagull (Writers’ Theatre). Regional credits include: As You Like It, Cyrano de Bergerac, Hamlet, The Knight of the Burning Pestle, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, King Lear (Illinois Shakespeare Festival); Red Noses, The Crucible, Misalliance, Violet, A Cry of Players, Sweeny Todd and Measure For Measure (Connecticut Repertory Theatre). Chris was 18 years old when he decided to study theater. He also plays guitar and likes to go fishing whenever he can get away.
