Tawny Newsome (Savannah) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where she was an understudy for The Two Noble Kinsmen. Other Chicago credits include: Queen in The Life (Bohemian Theatre Ensemble); The Teapot Scandals (Porchlight Music Theatre); and Keep Ishmael (White Horse Theatre Company). Tawny is the lead singer of her electronic band GFAMP, and received her BFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University in 2006. The first play she was in was Cinderella, when she was five years old. “I wore one of my dad’s oversized shirts and twirled around during the laundry dance,” Tawny says.
