Jessie Mueller (Daisy) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, after appearing as Daisy in How Can You Run with a Shell on Your Back? when it premiered in the spring, Cecile in The Three Musketeers, and Lady Mortimer in Henry IV Parts 1 and 2 (at CST and on tour to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon- Avon). Other Chicago credits include Jenny in Shenandoah (The Marriott Theatre); Lizzie in Baby (Theatre at the Center); and Once Upon a Mattress (Drury Lane Theatre). Regional credits include Mary Jane in Big River (Syracuse Stage). Jessie grew up in Evanston and went to St. Paul Lutheran Academy in Skokie. When she isn’t performing, she enjoys painting and going to art museums.
