Shanésia Davis (Queen) makes her Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Chicago credits include: Kanika in Permanent Collection, Shelita in BEE-LUTHERHATCHEE, Cara in My Other Heart (Northlight Theatre); Girl on Yacht in One Arm, Inez in Our Lady of 121st St. (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); Hannah in Drowning Crow, Amy Jacques in Black Star Line (Goodman Theatre); Pascuala in Fuente Ovejuna and Bianca in Othello (Court Theatre). Regional credits include: Salamina in The Syringa Tree, Ruth in A Raisin in the Sun, (Kansas City Repertory Theatre); Esther in Intimate Apparel (Centerstage Baltimore, South Coast Repertory); Ophelia in Hamlet, Desdemona in Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) (San Diego Repertory); and Missy May in Spunk (Penumbra Theatre Company). Film credits include: Damaged Goods, Morning Due, The Weatherman, Uncle Nino, Life Sentence, Chicago Cab and With Honors. Television credits include: Early Edition (CBS); Missing Persons, Gabriel’s Fire (ABC); and Making a Case for Murder: The Howard Beach Story (NBC). She serves as adjunct faculty at The Theatre School at DePaul University.
