Mike Nussbaum (Doctor Tambouri) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include: Polonius in Hamlet, Justice Shallow in Henry IV Parts 1 and 2 (CST and on tour to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon), Shylock in The Merchant of Venice, Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet, John of Gaunt in Richard II and Peter Quince in Short Shakespeare! A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Other Chicago credits include: Shelley Levine in the revival of Glengarry Glen Ross, Roberto in Death and the Maiden, Fletcher in El Salvador (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), as well as shows at Victory Gardens Theater, Goodman Theatre, Apple Tree Theatre, American Theater Company and Famous Door Theatre. New York and international credits include: Peter Brook’s production of The Cherry Orchard (on tour to New York, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tblisi and Tokyo); the original productions of the David Mamet plays, Teach in American Buffalo and Aaranow in Glengarry Glen Ross (in Chicago and on Broadway). He recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Joseph Jefferson Committee and a Legend Award from the Illinois Arts Council. Film credits include: Men in Black, Field of Dreams and Fatal Attraction.
