Ana Gasteyer (Fosca) makes her Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Broadway credits include: Elphaba in Wicked, Mrs. Peachum in The Threepenny Opera and Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show. Off Broadway credits include: The Vagina Monologues, Roulette by Paul Weitz and Kimberly Akimbo by David Lindsay-Abaire (Manhattan Theatre Club). Other theater credits include: Wicked (Chicago original cast, Jeff Award nomination), Fanny Brice in Funny Girl (Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera), the national tour of The Real Live Brady Bunch, as well as Chicago productions of The Odyssey and The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci (Goodman Theatre). She is best known for her six-year run on Saturday Night Live, where she created some of the show’s most memorable characters, including middle school music teacher Bobbie Moughan-Culp opposite Will Ferrell, NPR radio host Margaret Jo, Lilith Fair poetess Cinder Calhoun, as well as her impressions of Martha Stewart, Celine Dion and Hillary Rodham Clinton. Other television credits include: Reefer Madness, Frasier, Just Shoot Me, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Law & Order, Seinfeld, NYPD Blue, I’m with Her and Party of Five. She has guest-hosted Live with Regis, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, The View, and The Late Late Show. Film credits include the upcoming features The Women for director Diane English and Finn on the Fly, as well as Mean Girls, What Women Want, Woman on Top, Dick and What’s the Worst That Could Happen? Ms. Gasteyer’s recordings include Hair (Grammy nomination, Actor’s Fund) and Reefer Madness. She has also performed her acclaimed onewoman show Let It Rip at venues around the country, including Joe’s Pub in New York and Cinegrill in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of Northwestern University.
