Marlene Flood (Fosca's Mother/Attendant) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where she appeared in The Taming of the Shrew and Sunday in the Park with George. Chicago credits include Emma Goldman in Ragtime (Light Opera Works); Fosca in Passion (Jeff Citation, Porchlight Music Theatre); and work with Lyric Opera of Chicago, Court Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Theatre at the Center and Peninsula Players Theatre. Other roles include: Eva Peron in Evita, Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Lady Thiang in The King and I, Agnes in I Do! I Do!, Emma Goldman in Tintypes, and Raffaela Ottanio in Grand Hotel. She created the original character roles for the musicals The American Girls Revue and Circle of Friends, and sang with Gretchen Cryer to record the CDs for both shows.
