On April 12, 2012, Fiona Hyslop MSP, Scotland's Cabinet Secretary for Culture and External Affairs, Barbara Gaines, CST Artistic Director and Criss Henderson, CST Executive Director, hosted an event celebrating Scotland Week and the year of Creative Scotland at the Theater. Members of the Scottish Community as well as civic and corporate partners came together to enjoy the evening of celebration as well as a dramatic reading by Ian McDiarmid who plays the title role in CST's production of Timon of Athens and also serves on the board of The National Theater of Scotland.
