Evening Telemarketing Manager

We’re looking for a qualified evening Telemarketing Manager with a history of successful campaigning for the arts to motivate and mentor a team of up to 16 talented subscription sales and fundraising associates. The new evening Telemarketing Manager will partner with our current morning Telemarketing Manager to co-manage the Call Center as an unbeatable team. The strength of our Telemarketing Management team is critical to the continued growth and success of our new Call Center. Candidates must be dynamic, creative and driven with the kind of positive take-charge leadership style that motivates and inspires.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Staff recruitment, training, coaching and motivation
  • Staff supervision and mentorship
  • Script writing
  • Creation and implementation of sales and fundraising training materials
  • Developing and achieving weekly/monthly sales and fundraising revenue goals
  • Enforcing CST’s exceptional standards for patron service and support
  • Enforcing CST’s exceptional standards for honesty, integrity and accuracy
  • Lead management and distribution
  • Weekly productivity and revenue reports


  • A personal connection with/passion for theater, musical theater and Shakespeare
  • A minimum of 1-2 years performing arts-related outbound telemarketing sales and/or telefundraising experience
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Positive and empowering leadership style
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Goal oriented and capable of managing multiple projects with deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Box office experience and knowledge of Tessitura helpful


  • Bachelors degree or related experience
  • 1-2 years of arts-related telemarketing management experience or 2 or more years of arts-related assistant management experience

Evenings with some weekends averaging 35-40 hours per week.

Position is year round with paid training. Compensation includes base plus commission with performance bonuses. Compensation is commensurate with qualification and experience, and is competitive with prevailing compensation for similar positions within the non-profit performing arts industry.
